Shopee Live: how to get the RTMP URL & stream key
Shopee Live via streaming software (OBS/RTMP) is only available for some seller accounts. On Semut Live, Shopee Live is for Selling sessions only.

Sign in to Shopee Seller Centre on a computer.

Go to Marketing Centre → Shopee Live.

Create a new live session: fill in the title, cover image and add products.

Choose the "Streaming software" / OBS broadcast method (if available for your shop).

Copy the "RTMP URL" / "Server URL" and the "Stream key".

Paste them into Semut Live, press "Test connection", and make sure the same products are in the session's product list.

AI content label
Semut Live shows a "✦ AI Host" label on the video by default. If you turn it off, you must disclose the AI content on the platform yourself:
🤖 Shopee: there is no dedicated AI label switch — state "AI host" clearly in the live title or description.
Platforms such as Facebook & YouTube require disclosure of realistic AI content. If the label is off, make sure you turn on the 'AI-generated' label in the platform's own settings — accounts can be restricted if it isn't disclosed. Terms: Platform Actions
Tips
- A Shopee stream key may be valid for one session only — update it before every live. We send a reminder 60 minutes before start.
- Add the same products to the Shopee Live session so buyers can tap the yellow bag.
Common problems
No streaming software option
Availability depends on the seller account. Contact Shopee or us to check eligibility.
Key expired
Create a new live session in Seller Centre and copy the latest key.
Wrong server
The URL differs per session — copy it again from Seller Centre.
